“I believe that art is fundamental to humanity’s survival. Art allows us to illuminate the truths and question what is happening around us, encourages us to break free of the confines of reality, guides us to heal ourselves and connect with one another, and nourishes us with beauty and joy. Living in a capitalist hellscape, working artists are becoming more and more overwhelmed with what they have to sustain in order to have an art business.  My aim is to help artists in my own town, hoping that I can make a difference in our vital arts community.”
